14 Days - Aswan / Cairo

Day 1: Arrive Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt

Your Tour Manager will meet and assist you upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, and then escort you to your hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At your Hotel the Tour Manager will assist with a smooth check-in, and review your holiday itinerary with you to confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Fly Cairo to Aswan Nile Cruise

Check out from your Hotel after enjoying breakfast, then transfer to Cairo Airport Domestic Terminal for your flight to Aswan Airport. On arrival in Aswan, you will be met and assisted, then taken by an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle to board your Egypt Nile cruise. Embarkation on the Nile cruise in Aswan with Music in the bar. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 3: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Departing your Cruise ship to enjoy a day of tours in Aswan with visits to the High Dam, Philae Temple, and the Nubian Museum in the afternoon. A delightful Cocktail Party and Nubian Show on board the Cruise and Overnight in Aswan.

Day 4: Kom Ombo Temple - Sail to Edfu

Enjoy breakfast and Lunch on board your Nile Cruise Boat whilst sailing from Aswan to Kom Ombo. Arrive at Kom Ombo then you will be escorted by your expert Tour Guide to visit Kom Ombo Temple, the only one divided into two reflecting it’s dedication to two Gods Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility; and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the sky. Kom Ombo is also famous for the depictions of surgeon's instruments, giving us an early record of medicine and surgery in Ancient Egypt. Then back to the Nile Cruise to sail to Edfu. Guest Show on board and overnight in Edfu.

Day 5: Edfu Temple Tour - Sail To Luxor

After an enjoyable breakfast, you will leave your cruise in the morning with your Guide to visit Edfu Temple, the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, said to be the most complete and best preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin towered entrance gate; and inside, one of the interesting inscriptions lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library. Back to your Nile Cruise to enjoy sailing to Luxor via Esna Lock. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

Set out from your Nile Cruise after breakfast  to enjoy a sightseeing tour in Luxor. Exploring the West Bank to tour Valley of the Kings, the site of the 62 tombs of the Pharaohs, overall one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. See a selection of the beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs, many of which still display vibrant colour and breathtaking detail of deities and scenes from the Book of the Underworld. The most visited tombs have walkways and electric lighting, and the internal walls are protected by glass. (The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs prior to your visit).The next stop will be the Temple of the only female Pharaoh in Egypt, that of the colonnaded and terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, which was built into a high cliff face and has graphics telling the story of Hatshepsut’s expeditions to the mysterious land of Punt. Then move to the East bank to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples. Karnak Temple is the world's largest ancient religious site with it’s  hypostyle hall and colossal granite columns and is one of Egypt’s infamous landmarks. There will be free time to explore the different parts of the huge complex built during the reigns of various Pharaohs, then moving to Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals that was dedicated to the god Amon. The two Temples were once linked in ancient times by the Avenue of Sphinx, currently near completion after being reconstructed. At night there is an optional Sound and Light show which tells the story of Luxor and Karnak Temples. Back to your cruise ship and enjoy Belly Dancing show on board. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 7: Sail To Abydos and Dendera Temples

Early Sail from Luxor to Qena to enjoy visiting Abydos Temple, which was the head of the God Osiris- the God of the Underworld and part of his body was buried there according to the legend of ancient Egyptians,. In Abydos you will visit the famous Temple of King Seti I – the founder of Abydos Temple which was completed by his son King Ramses II. The beauty of this Temple almost feels like an apology and dedication to the following Gods Osiris, Isis, Horus, Amun Ra, Mut and Khonsu. Then on to Dendera Temple which is dedicated to Goddess Hathor- cow headed woman and known as the Goddess of Love. This temple dates back to 125 B.C and it is quite unique because of the fact that the roof is still intact and visitors can admire the beautiful ceiling which depicts the hours of the day and night as well as the journey of the sun, moon and the stars across the sky. One of its ceilings is decorated with a plaster cast of the signs of the zodiac. Day 8: Nile Cruise Sailing To Sohag

By early morning your cruise will leave Qena sailing to Sohag via Naga Hammadi Bridge and Abu Homar’s Lock, while you are enjoying Treasure Hunt game on board. Arrive to Sohag and Overnight.

Day 9: Nile Cruise Sailing To Minya

Day 12: Fayoum Sightseeing - Nile Cruise Sail To Cairo

Departing your Nile Cruise to enjoy a visit to Fayoum where you will see Hawara Pyramids and Maydom Pyramid. We will start with Hawara Pyramid which is about 145 km far from Cairo. Hawara Pyramid is built by King Amenemhat III (Dynasty XII). Then transfer to visit El Lahun Pyramid which is about 07 km far from Hawara Pyramid. El Lahun Pyramid was built by King Senusert II, (XII Dynasty). After that visit Meidum Pyramids which is about 40 km far from El Lahun Pyramid. Then back to the ship to sail to Cairo for approximately 5 hours. Arrive to Cairo and Overnight.

Day 13: Nile Cruise Tour to Pyramids and Museum
