Day 1: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours
On arrival in Luxor, you will be met and assisted at Luxor Airport or Train Station by a Memphis Tours Representative and driven by air-conditioned vehicle to do your first tour on Luxor’s East Bank to Karnak Temple in all it’s magnificence and was the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means ‘The Most Sacred of Places’. The Temple or more correctly, the complex of Temples, was built over more than two thousand years ago by generation after generation of Pharaohs. Within the complex, the great ‘Hypostyle Hall’ is an incredible forest of giant pillars. Then you will be transferred to the majestic Luxor Temple which built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun. After the tour, you will check in on your MS Salacia Nile Cruise. Evening onboard with dinner and time to familiarise yourself with the Nile cruise and facilities.

Day 2: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions
Early breakfast on your Egypt River Cruise, then a guided tour of the West Bank in Luxor to visit the most famous site known as the Valley of the Kings (the Royal Cemetery to 62 Pharaohs) where the magnificent Tombs were discovered including the famous boy King Tutankhamun (included in your visit). These Tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated, and filled with treasures from the afterlife of the Pharaohs. (The tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs prior to your visit). A visit to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari then on to the two enormous and impressive Colossi of Memnon, the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III. Return to your Cruise for lunch and sail on to Esna overnight at Esna.

Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
Breakfast onboard your Egypt River Cruise then, a visit with your Guide to Horus Temple, an inspiring Temple dedicated to the God Horus (falcon-headed God) and one of the best-preserved temples along the Nile. Back onboard for sailing to Kom Ombo. On arrival, you will be taken on your guided tour of the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek, God of Fertility and Creator of the World. The other side is dedicated to the Falcon God Haroeris, also known as Horus the Elder. After the tour, sailing to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours
After breakfast, you will be escorted by your Tour Guide to cross by boat to Angelika Island to see the Temple of Isis at Philae, one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers, and reliefs, including the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt. Back to your Egypt River Cruise for lunch onboard with time for relaxation. and overnight stay in Aswan.

Day 5: Optional Tour to Abu Simbel - Final Departure
It is the end for Egypt River Cruise, disembarkation after breakfast with free time to explore the lovely city of Aswan with its famous Nubian culture then transfer to Aswan airport/train station for your departure.
Please note* There is an optional excursion to Abu Simbel (highly recommended) from Aswan by private air-conditioned vehicle or by Egypt air to explore the impressive temples of King Ramses II and Queen Nefertari temple of Abu Simbel and then back to Aswan with free time at leisure in Aswan on your own.

- Prices - Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and are valid for the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2024 holidays in Egypt. The single price is valid for those coming with others who prefer single occupancy.
- Payment - Reservations should be made as early as possible to avoid disappointment in securing your specific required tour package. Your booking will be secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. Please note that during the Christmas and New Year holidays, tour packages require a deposit of 50%. This deposit forms part of your final payment by credit or debit card via our secured payment system. Packages and vacations which include International flights will require the full flight cost and deposit (25% or 50%) due to the regulations of the Airlines that require full payment
- Transportation - All transport within your tours is included such as domestic flights, trains, and air-conditioned vehicles by road. Wi-Fi can be provided in road vehicles, therefore please inform us on booking if you require Wi- Fi whilst traveling by road along with complimentary bottled water. All our vehicles are new and of the latest design and technology.
- Tour Guides and Representatives - Throughout your holiday from arrival to departure, you will have the constant assistance of our Memphis Tour Representatives who are responsible for your transfers to and from Airports, Hotels, and resorts and will assist at the Airports with Visa, tickets, and luggage and are there to answer any questions you may have. Once you start your tours of the sites in Egypt, you will have the constant guidance of your highly qualified Egyptologist Tour Guide both on included and optional tours
