Day 1: Arrival Sharm El Sheikh, Welcome to Egypt

Welcome to Egypt. On arrival. you will be met and assisted at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport by our memphis Tours Representative then be transferred in an air conditioned vehicle to your 5 star Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh for check in. Once you are checked in, your Representative will give you all the information regarding your stay and Egypt vacation package along with a contact number for Memphis Tours. The rest of your day is at leisure with time to look around your Hotel and the amenities available, or take a local walk around to know the area. Overnight at your Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 2: Sharm El Sheikh - Nautilus Cruise and Submarine

After a leisurely breakfast at your Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, our Memphis Tours representative will pick you up by a private air conditioned vehicle and transfer you to enjoy a one day cruise discovering the ultimate Red Sea experience through snorkeling at Ras Mohamed National Park As the boat cruises into Ras Mohamed National Park, guests can sit comfortably in the semi submarine and watch the underwater environment of spectacular corals ans sea life slowly pass by.
The large windows offer exceptional viewing with tables and comfortable seating, plus eight flat screen .TVs also showing fish and coral life.A stop for snorkeling with your knowledgeable snorkel team who will give the guests an informative yet fun briefing on the Red Sea’s amazing underwater world meaning that you can jump in the water and snorkel, with the knowledge that you are in safe hands. Nautilus has a tender boat, which will escort snorkelers into the water, plus a team of qualified experienced snorkel guides. During the day’s cruise,the Captain’s Table will serve a sumptuous buffet fit for a King. Choose from two soups served with croutons and fresh lemon, meat, fish, and vegetarian options from the full hot buffet, and a selection of seasonal salads.
After your very enjoyable day, you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh for an overnight relaxing stay.

Day 3: Sharm El Sheikh Optional Excursions

Today, you have the options of several highly recommended Tours from Sharm El Sheikh, or just spend the day in Sharm El Sheikh relaxing locally.
Petra Jordan - Early hours pick up (around 3am) from your Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh to discover an incredible day of ancient history and sights.Drive to Taba (about 3.30 minutes drive then boarding a cruise yacht to Aqaba Port in Jordan. Upon arrival at Aqaba Port,transfer you directly to Petra with a full day of activities beginning at the famous site known as Red Rose Rock City, the City of the Nabateans,a lost City carved in the mountains, along with the opportunity to ride a horse to the Siq (canyon) which are natural cracks in the rocks. Walking through the 1.2 km canyon, you will be amazed at the beautiful carvings of statues, idols and niches. The ‘Treasury’ has been positioned there for over 2000 years. Continue along the facade leading to the Roman Theatre, Royal Tombs, the Roman colonnaded street and Qasr Al-Bent.Lunch during the tour then drive back to Aqaba Port to board the cruise to Taba Port in Egypt, where you will be met and transferred back to your hotel (return around 10pm) in Sharm El Sheikh.

Moses Mount and St Catherines Monastery - Early pick up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, to enjoy a wonderful day trip to St.Catherine Monastery and Moses Mount 220 km Northwest, arriving at St.Catherine with a rest stop at the Monastery guest house for refreshment. Following this,your big climb up Moses Mount, which takes around 3 hours to climb the 7,498-foot peak following the Path of Moses, a stairway of nearly 700 steps which has to be done by foot reaching the Chapel of the Holy Trinity on the peak of Moses Mount, It is the spot where Moses had received the Ten Commandments and for you to view the stunning scenery of the sunrise over the Mountains of Sinai.
After descent, visit the Monastery of St.Catherine. Within its imposing walls rests a Citadel like no other, incredibly rich in important religious and historical structures. Among its treasures is a library of ancient manuscripts and icons second only to the Vatican itself, and a 6th Century Church reputed to lie directly on the site of the Burning Bush. Quite simply, the Monastery is a defining feature of the Holy Land. From there to Dahab the Flower Power and City in the Red Sea for a city tour and shopping tours in Dahab then you will have lunch at local restaurant, then drive you back to your Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 4: Fly Sharm to Luxor - Nile Cruise Tours

Today after breakfast at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, you will be transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Airport with your Representative to take the domestic flight to Luxor (less than 1 hour). On arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be met by your Memphis Tours Luxor Representative to be transferred to your 5 star Nile Cruise vessel for embarkation and check in. Lunch will be served, then you will meet you local Luxor expert English speaking Tour Guide for a fascinating tour of the 2 grand Temples. Karnak Temple is the world's largest ancient religious site. The hypostyle hall with its colossal granite columns is one of Egypt’s infamous landmarks, then moving to Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals that was dedicated to the Gods.The famous Avenue of Sphinx used to connect the two temples, but over time the statues were eroded. The Government are now reconstructing the Avenue to it’s former glory and completion is all but finished. Free time to explore Luxor or take an optional tour of the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, or into Luxor City by Kallesh (horse and carriage) to discover the local area and Market. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

After an early breakfast on your Nile Cruise Boat, you will start your half day of tours in Luxor with your expert English speaking Tour Guide to visit the West Bank of Luxor, site of the most famous archeological digs in history, the Valley of the Kings. Visit the impressive colonnaded and terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, which was built into a high cliff face and has graphics telling the story of Hatshepsut’s expeditions to the mysterious land of Punt. Then you will go to the Valley of the Kings to see a selection of the beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs, many of which still display vibrant colour and breathtaking detail of deities and scenes from the Book of the Underworld. The most visited tombs have walkways and electric lighting, and the internal walls are protected by glass.(The 3 tombs you will visit are determined by the Government due to protecting the area and footpaths around and within the tombs). Passing by the huge twin statues known as the Colossi of Memnon for about 15 minutes. Return back to the Cruise for lunch then sailing along the tranquil Nile whilst enjoying the views of local life unchanged for centuries. Take a seat on the top deck for the best views with afternoon tea served around 4pm.
Passing through the Lock as Esna en route to Edfu is an eye opener. Whilst passing through the Lock, you will be entertained by the site of local boatmen frantically rowing up to the cruise vessels and tossing their wares up for quick sales to the passing tourists! Arrive in the evening at Edfu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

After a restful night’s sleep, breakfast will be served on board the Nile cruise ship followed by your next fascinating tour with your knowledgeable Guide to the impressive and most well preserved Horus Temple, known as the Falcon headed God at Edfu then transferred back to the cruise to sail on to Kom Ombo with lunch on board the Nile cruise boat. .You will be accompanied by your Egyptologist Tour Guide to visit the Kom Ombo Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris then sailing to Aswan past the spectacular Aswan Bridge known as the ‘Gateway to Nubia’ then ’into the fascinating lights of the Aswan Tombs of the Nobles with dinner and overnight on board the Nile cruise ship in Aswan

Day 7: Aswan Nile Cruise - Fly to Cairo

After breakfast on your Nile Cruise in Aswan, you will check out with your Tour Guide who will take you on a discovery of the modern structure of the Aswan High Dam which was built in the 1960’s to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for the country. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has ever known. Then we go to see the ‘Unfinished Obelisk’ which still lay in the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with building materials. It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned where it was being hewn. Cross by boat to Angilika Island, to see the Temple of Isis at Philae which is one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers and reliefs which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt. Chance for a sit down in the coffee shop before leaving for Aswan Airport. You will be transferred and check in for your flight to Cairo. Overnight at your Hotel in Cairo with an optional tour to the ‘Sound and Light Show’ at the Pyramids in Giza.

Day 8: Cairo Pyramids and Museum Tour

After a relaxing breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will be accompanied by your private tour guide and driver to visit the famous Giza Plateau, home of Egypt’s greatest attractions to visit The Great Pyramids, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, middle pyramids of Khephren and the little one of Mykerinos and The Mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror for the ancient pharaohs, this tour includes visit to the Valley Temple facing the great sphinx.
Then on the way you will have Lunch, then enjoy a visit to the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiques that was built in neo-classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibits a collection now over 120000 masterpieces ranges from pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt, learn about the great Egyptian civilization and the mummification art in ancient Egypt. Enjoy your free time at the Museum, and then you will be transferred to your Hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 9: Cairo Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, you will embark on a final day of tours with your Guide starting with a visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the Hanging Church or the suspended church this basilica church was named for its location on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon the church became the centre of the Christian Church of Egypt. Also today, you will visit the very interesting Citadel of Saladin and Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed and built in Turkish style and very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey.This magnificent structure is built at a very high point overlooking Old Cairo with spectacular views across the City as far as the Pyramids. It also hosts some very interesting Museums such as the Police, Military, Old Islamic Cairo, and old and modern history of Egypt. Afterwards enjoy a shopping tour at the Khan El Khalili famous Bazaar and old market in Cairo. After your tours you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Cairo - Fly Back Home

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo before checking out, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport by our representative for your return flight.
