Day 1: Welcome to Istanbul

On arrival at Istanbul Airport, you will be greeted by our Representative and then transferred to your Hotel for an overnight stay and time to relax and get ready for your Turkey Tour.

Day 2: Full day tour of Istanbul

Breakfast at your Hotel then you will start your first day of your Turkey Tour, then you will be met by your Guide for your exciting full day exploring the famous sites of Istanbul. Your itinerary starts with the ancient Hagia Sophia structure built during the reign of the Emperor Constantine from the fourth century which was later converted in to a Mosque during the fifthteenth century by the Ottomans. Following this, you will transfer to the most talked about sight in Istanbul, that of the magnificent Blue Mosque consisting of six minarets with a breathtaking interior using decorative blue iznik tiles. Next stop on your exciting day, will be the ancient Hippodrome used in it’s day for chariot races. Moving on then to the stunning residence of Ottoman Sultan’s Topkapi Palace from the fifthteenth to nineteenth century. Here you will see the impressive treasury, peaceful courtyards, the Harem section and pavilions, home to it’s huge collection of antiquities. Finally, a visit to Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar before transferring back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Bosphorus Day Tour

Today after breakfast, day three of your Turkey Tour will begin at the famous Spice Bazaar with its vibrant colours and bustling locals buying and selling their goods. After this, an exciting and unmissable cruise along the stunning Bosphorus River which is the link between Europe and the Asian Peninsular. In the afternoon, a drive to the summit of Camlica Hill to capture the most stunning panoramic views across the City of Istanbul whilst crossing the Bosphorus Bridge. Next you will continue on to the Sea of Marmara and the Prince’s Islands then a short trip to Beylerbeya Palace sitting on the shores of the Bosphorus. It is considered the most elegant of late Ottoman Palaces boasting six extravagant furnished receptions halls amongst its grandeur. Finally a transfer back to your Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Free Day in Istanbul

Today after breakfast you will have the whole day to yourselves to explore Istanbul at your own leisure.

Day 5: Istanbul to Cappadocia by Air

Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Istanbul Airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Here you will have an overnight stay at a Hotel.

Day 6: Full Day North Cappadocia (Red Tour)

After a delicious breakfast, your Turkey Tour continues, and you will begin your exciting full day tour of the magnificent Cappadocia region, where you will experience the incredible Open Air Museum in Goremeand, a natural fortress of the Uchisar. This will include the chance to see local hand crafts produced in Turkey for many centuries. Here you will see traditional Turkish carpets, onyx, tiles and pottery. Lastly, a look at the beautiful Pasabag Valley and Avanos. Back to your Hotel to relax for the evening. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 7: South Cappadocia (Green Tour)- Flight to Izmir

Today after breakfast, your 7th day of your Turkey Travel Package begins, you will be collected from the Hotel for a full day of tours in South Cappadocia.Starting your day with a visit to Kizilcukur, an isolated valley sitting behing Urgup which has some incredible rock formations which include the very famous rock carved Churches. Within this area, there are countless tracks which connect the churches to small villages and towns winding through vineyards and gardens like spiders webs. It is a common site to come across villagers offering you locally grown produce such as grapes, apples and apricots with a warm welcome. Next we move on to Cavusin, one of the oldest settlements in the area and situated 2km from Goreme on what is known as the Goreme – Avanos Road. In Cavusin, sits the iconic St John the Baptist Church offering panoramic views across the village. The stunning paintings within the Church date back to the 5th Century making it the oldest Church in the region. Unusually for Cappadocia, the church had a large courtyard which was sadly eroded over time. Moving on, we will then explore the absolute treasure known as the Underground City. This is only one of forty found in Cappadocia and hard to image the work which was put in to the construction of eight floors. Not all of the floors are open to the public. Finally, we visit Pidgeon House, another amazing structure of pidgeon houses and rock formations.Your tour will end with a transfer to the local Airport for a flight to Izmir with an overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Day 8: Pamkkale – Hierapolis – Kusadasi

Today after breakfast, you will be picked and taken on another intriguing full day excursion starting with Pamukkale and Hierapolis. Here you will witness the Cotton Cliffs, a natural wonder of the world formed by deposits of calcareous salts. Moving on to the beautiful ancient ruins known as the City of Hierapolis which includes a Basilica, ancient theatre and Roman Baths.Then a return to your Hotel around 19.00pm for an overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Day 9: Kusadasi – Full Day to Ephesus – Istanbul

Kick off your 9th day of your Turkey Tour with a tasty breakfast at your Hotel in Kusadasi then a full day ahead starting at Ephesus which covers different religious changes over the centuries. Starting at Isabey Mosque, the heart if Islam at that time. Then moving on to the Greek history of the City, later to become a Roman City located on the West Coast of Asia minor and Named Ephesus after the Greeks. You will take a stroll past the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, Trajan Fountain all in this ancient City. Walking these ancient marble streets, we will pass the Great Theatre where it was said
that Saint Paul often preached. A nice break next at a local Turkish restaurant offering a buffet lunch. The afternoon visits will include the Shrine of Mother Mary where she spent many years of her life, before finally moving on to the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Transfer then to Izmir Airport for your return flight to Istanbul. On arrival, you will be transferred back to a Hotel in Istanbul for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Final Departure from Istanbul

This is the end of your Turkey Tour, breakfast at the Hotel with some free time before being transferred to Istanbul Airport for your flight.
