This 8 day Jordan Jerusalem tour links two of the region's great destinations in a single overland journey, crossing at the King Hussein Bridge rather than flying between them.

You begin in Amman with the city's Islamic sites, including the Cave of the Seven Sleepers and the tombs of the companions Bilal bin Rabah and Abdul-Rahman bin Auf. From there the route descends through the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, where mineral-rich water ten times saltier than the ocean makes floating effortless.

The middle of the trip covers Jordan's biblical and Crusader heritage: the mosaic map at Madaba, the valley views from Mount Nebo, the hilltop fortress at Karak, and the shrines at Al-Mazar and Mutah. Further north you have a guided walk through Roman Jerash, plus Irbid and the hilltop ruins of Umm Qais overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

The journey then crosses into Hebron and on to Jerusalem, where a full guided day covers the Old City and its holy sites — the same ground walked two thousand years ago.

Private transfers with an English-speaking driver, guides in Jerash and Jerusalem, all entrance fees and seven nights' accommodation are included. Israeli departure taxes at King Hussein Bridge and both entry visas are payable separately. Enquire now to check availability.
