Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After early breakfast, your Tour Guide will transfer you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, you will be met by your Representative to check into your Nile Cruise in Luxor. After this, you will head off with your Tour Guide to explore Karnak Temple, which is the world's largest ancient religious site. The hypostyle hall with its colossal granite columns is one of Egypt’s infamous landmarks. There will be free time to explore the different parts of the huge complex built during the reigns of various Pharaohs, then moving to Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals that was dedicated to the God Amon and you may wish to return in the evening for the highly recommended optional tour, the Sound and Light show which tells the glorious Pharaonic historical story of Luxor and Karnak. Return to your Nile cruise and Overnight in Luxor.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Breakfast is served on board in Luxor before being escorted by your Guide to cross to the West Bank of the Nile to the sites of Ancient Thebes, overall one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. Visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and the visit the impressive colonnaded and terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, which was built into a high cliff face and has graphics telling the story of Hatshepsut’s expeditions to the mysterious land of Punt. Then on to The Valley of the Kings to see a selection of the beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs, many of which still display vibrant color and breathtaking detail of deities and scenes from the Book of the Underworld with a visit to 3 tombs. (The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs before your visit). The most visited tombs have walkways and electric lighting, and the internal walls are protected by glass. Sailing to Edfu via Esna Lock dinner and overnight stay on board the Nile cruise vessel.
Please Note: There is an additional charge to enter the Tombs of King Tutankhamun and Ramses VI.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After enjoying breakfast onboard your Nile cruise ship in Aswan you sail to see Kom Ombo Temple. Of all the ancient temples in Egypt, this is the only one which is divided into two, to reflect that it is dedicated to two Gods: Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility; and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the sky. Kom Ombo is also famous for the depictions of surgeon's instruments, giving us an early record of medicine and surgery in Ancient Egypt.
In the afternoon, sailing down the Nile to visit the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best-preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate; and inside, one of the interesting inscriptions lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library. Back to your Nile cruise for dinner, afternoon tea is served on the sundeck with dinner sailing to Aswan overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After enjoying breakfast onboard your cruise ship in Aswan you will be met by your Guide visiting the ‘Unfinished Obelisk’ which still lies in the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with building materials. It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned where it was being hewn. Cross by boat to Angilika Island, to see Philae Temple which is one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers, and reliefs which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt. Return to your Nile cruise ship for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and leisurely free time in Aswan. Overnight stay aboard the cruise.

This 5-day tour was the ideal way to see Cairo and Luxor without feeling rushed. From the moment we were greeted at the airport, everything ran smoothly — transfers, flights, and hotel check-ins were flawless. The expert Egyptologist guides made the history come alive at the Pyramids, Sphinx and in the Valley of the Kings. I especially loved exploring Karnak Temple and hearing stories abo

Perfect Introduction to Egypt’s Ancient Wonders

Our family loved this tour! The itinerary was packed with Egypt’s must-see sites, yet it never felt too tiring. The hot air balloon ride over Luxor was a real highlight — breathtaking views and unforgettable. The guides were professional, knowledgeable and made every stop fascinating for adults and kids alike. The included meals were delicious, and accommodation was comfortable thro

Amazing Highlights With Excellent Guides

What impressed me most was how seamless everything was — especially the domestic flight from Cairo to Luxor and back. The tour logistics were handled expertly, and our guide ensured we got the most out of every site. The Nile cruise portion felt magical, and the attention to detail in every activity was excellent. If you want a well-organised, stress-free Egypt experience from the UK, thi

Smooth, Enjoyable and Good Value

Our tour was well organised from start to finish. The drive out to Bahariya Oasis gave us a real sense of Egypt’s landscape beyond the cities. Visiting the Golden Mummies tombs and the English House was fascinating, and the Black Desert’s volcanic hills were impressive. The White Desert was truly spectacular at sunset. The accommodation varied but was comfortable, and meals were goo

Perfect Blend of Culture and Desert Magic

This trip balanced iconic sites with authentic desert adventures. The Pyramids and GEM were amazing, but the desert journey from Bahariya to the White Desert was the highlight for us. It felt off-the-beaten-path yet safe and well-supported. Our guides were friendly and professional, always ensuring we were comfortable. The camping experience in the White Desert was unique and something we&rsquo

Memphis Tours Did a Fantastic Job

Our trip to Egypt was truly special. While every ancient site was breathtaking, the most memorable moment came during our Nile cruise. Our guide, Ahmed, saw our genuine curiosity about local life. He arranged for us to take a small boat to a remote village, where we shared mint tea with a local family. Sitting on their rooftop, we watched the sunset over the river and listened to their stories,

The True Heart of Egypt

This was one of the most memorable trips I’ve taken. The itinerary covered so much — from the Pyramids to remote desert landscapes. The overnight camp in the White Desert was definitely a highlight, and the food during the tour was better than expected. Transportation was smooth, and the guide was excellent at keeping us on schedule while still enjoying each stop. Highly recommended

A Fantastic Journey with Unexpected Costs

I was worried about the long drive, but the private vehicle was so comfortable and our guide was an absolute expert. He made the time fly by with incredible stories and details about the sites. Seeing the Valley of the Kings in person was a spiritual experience.

A Day That Felt Like a Week

I have always wanted to do a hot air balloon ride, and Luxor was the perfect place. The team was so organized from the hotel pick-up to the smooth landing. The flight itself was so peaceful, and the view of the Nile and the fertile lands was beautiful. A must-do.
