The plateau is as famous for its mysterious structure, the Sphinx, as it is for the Pyramids, where you will visit the Valley Temple. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Enjoy your breakfast with a sunrise view from the train before arriving at Aswan, where you will be met by a Memphis Tours Representative who will transfer you to your Nile Cruise Boat and then be escorted by your Egyptologist tour guide for a day tour in Aswan. You will begin this phase of your Egypt Budget Tour by visiting the ‘Unfinished Obelisk’ which still lies in the granite quarries used to provide the main building material in ancient Egypt. It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned where it was being hewn. Cross by boat to Angelika Island, to see Philae Temple, one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers, and reliefs which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt after which you will be transferred back to your Nile boat with Overnight stay on board in Aswan.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After enjoying breakfast on board your Nile cruise ship in Aswan you sail to see Kom Ombo Temple. Of all the ancient temples in Egypt, this is the only one which is divided into two, to reflect that it is dual devotion to two Gods: Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility; and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the sky. Kom Ombo is also famous for the depictions of surgeon's instruments, giving us an early record of medicine and surgery in Ancient Egypt.
In the afternoon, you will continue your Egypt Budget Tours by sailing down the Nile to visit the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best-preserved of Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate one of the truly magnificent items inside is an interesting inscription listing the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library. Finally, you will head back to your Nile cruise for dinner, and refreshing afternoon tea served on the cruise’s sundeck with an overnight stay onboard the Nile cruise concluding this day of your Egypt Vacation.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Proceeding your Egypt Budget Tour by an excellent breakfast on board the Nile Cruise then you will be taken to the West Bank of the River Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon). Then visit the ceremonial Valley of the Kings, where many magnificent tombs were discovered (including the Boy King Tutankhamen), These tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the Pharaohs and here you will visit 3 tombs. (The permitted amount of tombs to visit was determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors and are rotated throughout the year, therefore, making confirming wich tombs nearly impossible). Continue your tour to visit Hatshepsut’s Temple at El Deir El Bahary, this impressive temple is dedicated to the Queen Hatshepsut the only female Pharaoh. Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it. We then head back to the cruise for lunch and some afternoon tea on the ship with plenty of free leisure time and overnight stay onboard the cruise closing out the fifth day of your Egypt Tour holiday.

Our trip to Egypt was truly special. While every ancient site was breathtaking, the most memorable moment came during our Nile cruise. Our guide, Ahmed, saw our genuine curiosity about local life. He arranged for us to take a small boat to a remote village, where we shared mint tea with a local family. Sitting on their rooftop, we watched the sunset over the river and listened to their stories,

A Fantastic Journey with Unexpected Costs

I was worried about the long drive, but the private vehicle was so comfortable and our guide was an absolute expert. He made the time fly by with incredible stories and details about the sites. Seeing the Valley of the Kings in person was a spiritual experience.

A Day That Felt Like a Week

I have always wanted to do a hot air balloon ride, and Luxor was the perfect place. The team was so organized from the hotel pick-up to the smooth landing. The flight itself was so peaceful, and the view of the Nile and the fertile lands was beautiful. A must-do.

A Dream Come True

Our two teenagers were initially skeptical about a "history trip," but this tour won them over completely. The sheer scale of the Pyramids and the mystery of the Sphinx blew them away. The hot air balloon ride over Luxor was an unforgettable highlight, giving them a real thrill. The guides were great at balancing historical facts with interesting stories, making it fun for the whole f

An Unforgettable Journey Through Ancient Egypt!

I was a bit nervous about the height, but once we were up there, all my fear was gone. It was so quiet and tranquil.

Simply Magical

Our group of friends chose this tour, and it was a phenomenal experience. The guides were charismatic and funny, making the days of sightseeing feel like a fun outing rather than a history lesson. We especially enjoyed the horse-and-carriage ride at Edfu, which was a fun and memorable part of the trip. The cruise ship offered a great space for us to relax and socialize in the evenings.
