Taba Heights ( around 22.00pm) for a drive to
mount Moses (approximately 3 hours 15 minutes drive). You will arrive at
Saint Catherines Monastery and take a refreshment break Following this you will begin your ascent up Moses Mount, which takes around 3 hours to climb the 7,498-foot peak following the Path of Moses, a stairway of nearly 700 steps which has to be done by foot reaching the Chapel of the Holy Trinity on the peak of
Moses Mount, It is the spot where Moses had received the Ten Commandments and for you to view the stunning scenery of the sunrise over the Mountains of Sinai. After descent, you will visit the
Monastery of St.Catherine. Within the Monastery’s imposing walls rests a Citadel like no other, home to some incredibly rich and important religious and historical structures. Among its treasures is a library of ancient manuscripts and icons second only to the Vatican itself, and a 6th Century Church reputed to lie directly on the site of the Burning Bush. Quite simply, the Monastery is a defining feature of the Holy Land. After the tour, you will head by road to Nuweiba for a delicious Lunch at local restaurant with stunning views of the Saudi Arabian mountain range before your drive you back to the Hotel in
Taba Heights.
