Itinerary:
8 Days - Luxor / Aswan Every Saturday

Day 1: Embarkation in Luxor

  • Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be met and assisted, then transferred to board your dahabiya on Luxor’s west bank around noon.
  • Enjoy lunch on board
  • Explore Luxor’s East Bank with guided visits to the magnificent Karnak Temple and the elegant Luxor Temple
  • Dinner on board
  • Overnight on board in Luxor (West Bank)

Day 2: Luxor West Bank & Sail to Esna

  • Breakfast on board
  • Discover Luxor’s West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon
  • Lunch served as you begin sailing south
  • Dinner on board
  • Overnight on board near Esna Lock

Day 3: Esna & Scenic Sailing

  • Cross the Esna Lock early in the morning and enjoy breakfast on board
  • Visit the Temple of Khnum in Esna

Day 4: Edfu & Bassawa Island

  • Breakfast while sailing toward Edfu
  • Take a horse-drawn carriage ride to visit the impressive Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s most well-preserved temples

  • Arrive at Bassawa Island and visit a local family for a glimpse into rural Egyptian life and traditional farming practices

Day 5: Gebel El Silsila, Kom Ombo & Sail to Aswan

  • Breakfast while sailing to Gebel El Silsila

  • In the afternoon, visit the unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris
  • Continue sailing toward Aswan
  • Enjoy a special dinner on board

Day 6: Aswan Highlights

  • After breakfast, explore the highlights of Aswan including the Unfinished Obelisk and the island Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis

Day 7: Aswan at Leisure / Optional Abu Simbel Tour

Day 1: Arrival & Aswan Exploration

  • Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be met and assisted, then transferred to your dahabiya for embarkation.

Day 6: Luxor’s East Bank

  • Dinner on board
  • Overnight on board in Luxor (West Bank)

  • Prices - Per Person in Sterling Per Tour and can be paid in US$ or Euros by credit card via a secure payment system with no extra surcharge. Current prices are valid until September 30, 2025, excluding Easter and Christmas Holidays.

  • Payment - Early Reservations are advised to avoid disappointment in securing your spaces. Booking is secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. During the Christmas holidays, packages require a deposit of 50%. forming part of your final payment.

  • Transportation - Transport for all Nile Cruise Tours included air-conditioned vehicles. Wi-Fi, Bottled water, and an icebox are all included onboard whilst traveling by road. All are new vehicles of the latest design and technology.

  • Food and drinks - Nile Cruise Boats offer lunch on arrival and breakfast on your departure. Onboard, all meals are included along with certain drinks. Alcoholic drinks served at the bar and restaurants are at an additional cost

  • Excursions - Included are the sites en route including Luxor: Luxor and Karnak Temples, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, along the Nile to Aswan including Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples. In Aswan, High Dam, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk
