Day 01: Arrival Dubai - Welcome

Once arrived at Dubai International Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Memphis Tours Representative and transferred by a modern air conditioned vehicle to check in at your Hotel in Dubai. Your representative will brief you on what to expect regarding your itinerary over the next few days whilst in Dubai. All tours will be conducted by an English speaking Tour guide who is willing to assist you with any questions or queries. Time to relax or explore the local area. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 02: Dubai Sightseeing - Dhow Cruise

After breakfast at the Hotel, You will be collected by your Tour Guide to discover both the historic old and new aspects of this large City of Dubai. First you will explore the heritage area of Bastakiya (the historical quarter named after the Bastak region of Iran),with Arabian wind towers and a most engaging neighborhood. established at the end of the 19th century.Streets are lined with restored merchant’s houses, art galleries, cafés, and boutique Hotels. After this, a Sail down the Dubai Creek, a wide saltwater inlet which divides the two main city-centre districts on an authentic Abra (often called water taxis). Stop to explore the 225-year old Al Fahidi Fort (built around 1787, and home to the Dubai Museum depicting everyday life in the days before the discovery of oil. Galleries recreate scenes from the Creek, traditional Arab houses, mosques, the souk and more. Spectacular exhibits portrays pearl diving, also on display, artefacts from several excavations recovered from graves that dating back to the third millennium BC. Next, the chance to shop at the Gold and Spice Souks before heading to Jumeirah Mosque and the world’s most luxurious hotel, Burj Al Arab ( part of the Burj khalifa, the tallest man made structure in the world) for amazing photo opportunities. After this you will return to the Hotel. At approximately 7:00pm, you will be picked up to spend a relaxing evening on board a traditionally decorated wooden ‘Dhow’ sailing along the Dubai Creek under the moonlight with spectacular views of the modern structures of the City by night. Beverages galore and sumptuous with a mouth-watering selection. Finally you will be transferred back to your Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Dubai Desert Safari

Runs every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
You will be picked up from your Hotel during the morning to drive across the magical sands of the Arabian Desert in a modern 4X4 spacious Jeep with a thrilling ride up and down the golden sands of Arabia before stopping on the highest point of the dunes, giving you spectacular panoramic views and amazing photo opportunities.There is also the chance to try your skill at sandboarding.Back to your transport to continue on the a traditional Bedouin campsite complete with a henna designer,(non- permanent tattooing) with traditional Bedouin clothing and refreshments. Why not try a camel ride to complete your day of adventure. Return back to the Bedouin encampment camp and dine on a delicious barbeque dinner under the stars. A performance by a local belly dancer to traditional Arabian music. Complete the experience by trying a shisha pipe(Hubbly Bubbly), available in many aromatic flavours before heading to your hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 04: Dubai - Fly to Cairo, Egypt

After breakfast at the Hotel in Dubai, you will be transferred to Dubai International Airport for your flight to Cairo where you will be met and assisted on arrival in Cairo then transferred to your hotel in Cairo and overnight stay. *There is an optional tour of the amazing Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids and other optional tours also. Please speak to your Memphis Tours Representative for further information.

Day 05: Pyramids Tour

Breakfast at your Hotel in Cairo then your personal expert Tour Guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and the smallest Pyramid of Mykerinos, Famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. There is an additional visit to the Solar Boat Museum, the boat uses to transport the mummified corpse of the Pharaoh along the Nile to his resting place where he was to be buried. Lunch will be served in a good quality local restaurant, then proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid). Move to Memphis; Old kingdom's capital and famous Necropolis. Back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo. * There is an optional tour to the fascinating Sound and Light Show at Giza Pyramids.
*Please note - there is an additional charge for the Solar Boat Museum. Please ask your Guide if you require a ticket.

Day 06: Cairo Sightseeing

Breakfast at the Hotel and then you will be escorted by your private Tour Guide to visit the world renowned Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the Treasures Room of the boy King Tutankhamun along with many other fascinating artifacts. Additional visit to the Mummification Room at the museum ( extra ticket required - please ask your Guide). Lunch will be served at a local quality restaurant in Cairo.
Back to Hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 07: Cairo to Alexandria Optional Tour

A rare opportunity to discover another Ancient culture here in Egypt, that of the Greco- Roman in Alexandria, a Port and Coast city near a few hours from Cairo. Alexandria was once the strongholds defensively against attacks from opposing enemies along the Mediterranean Coast. Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay sits on the spot where Alexandria's ancient lighthouse once stood. The grand Montazah Palace combines Turkish and Florentine architectural styles then the opportunity to see the acclaimed sight and size of the Alexandria Library ( known as the Biblioteca). A visit the Roman cemetery is included with the catacombs cut out of the rock formations. Return to your Hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 08: Cairo - Fly Back Home

Breakfast with free time at your Hotel, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for flight back home.

Early Reservations advised to avoid disappointment in securing your spaces..Booking secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. During the Christmas holidays, packages require a deposit of 50%. forming part of your final payment. Packages and vacations which include International flights will require the full flight cost and deposit (25% or 50%) due to the regulations of the Airlines who require full payment

  • Tour Guides:
