Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Amman

Discover your Jordan Xmas and New Year Tour with Memphis Tours. You will be picked up by your tour manager when you arrive at Amman International Airport. Then, you will be transferred to your hotel in Amman by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check in. Upon arrival at the hotel and after checking in, you will take your detailed information regarding your tomorrow’s trip. Overnight in Amman.

Day 2: Jerash and Half day Amman City Tour

After enjoying your breakfast in the hotel, you will leave to Jerash; the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular Roman collonaded, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. Then you will visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period. After that, you will have a visit to the Archaeological Museum, housing an excellent collection like several Dead Sea Scrolls. You will stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, to the Roman Theater from the 2nd century with 6000 seats. Then after enjoying your day, you will be back to Amman Hotel.

Day 3: Half Day Madaba and Nebo Tour from Amman

You will be picked up from Amman hotel lobby and will go to the town Madaba. There, you will find the famous mosaic 6th-century map of Palestine in Saint George’s church. Then you will continue to Mount Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died and alleged to be his burial place. You will visit an old monastery, overlook the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. After enjoying your day, you will be transferred to your hotel and overnight in Amman.

Day 4: Petra Tour

After enjoying your breakfast, you will have a drive for 2 hours and a half to the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. You will pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most well known and beautiful monument: the Treasury. You will continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Then you will drive back to Amman and overnight.

Day 5: Final Departure

After Breakfast, you will be transferred to Amman Airport according to flight schedule for your departure.
