Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to the land of the pharaohs
Welcome to Cairo, Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will meet and assist you with the arrival procedures. You'll then be transferred to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Once at the hotel, the tour manager will help with check-in and review your itinerary to confirm all pick-up times.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast at your hotel, your private guide will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You'll also see the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant before heading to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located just 2 km from the Giza pyramids. The GEM is currently offering limited access to selected areas ahead of its official opening. Return to your hotel.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan and embark Nile cruise
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your Nile cruise. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis and Hathor, and the fascinating Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient stone quarries. Dinner on board.

Day 4: Kom Ombo and Edfu temples
Sail to Kom Ombo and enjoy breakfast on board. Visit the unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Continue sailing to Edfu, where you’ll have lunch on board and visit the Temple of Horus, Egypt’s best-preserved cult temple. Enjoy afternoon tea while sailing to Esna.

Day 5: West Bank of Luxor
Sail to Luxor. After breakfast, explore the West Bank of the Nile. Visit the Valley of the Kings, where generations of pharaohs were buried, then continue to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. End the morning with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch and afternoon tea on board.

Day 6: East Bank of Luxor and fly back to Cairo
Enjoy breakfast before disembarking the cruise. Then, explore the East Bank of Luxor with visits to the impressive Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple. After the tour, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 7: Final departure from Cairo

Prices
- Prices - Prices per person are quoted in Sterling but can also be paid in US$ or Euros by credit or debit card via a secure credit card payment system. Any additional bank charges on bookings will be covered by Memphis Tours. The above prices are valid till April 30 2025 for Easter Tours to Egypt.
- Payment - Reservations should be made as early as possible to avoid disappointment in securing your specific required tour package. Your booking will be secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. Please note that during the Christmas and New Year holidays, tour packages require a deposit of 50%. This deposit forms part of your final payment by credit or debit card via our secure payment system. Packages and vacations which include International flights will require the full flight cost and deposit (25% or 50%) due to the regulations of the Airlines that require full payment
- Transportation - All transport within your tours is included such as domestic flights, trains, and air-conditioned vehicles by road. Wi-Fi can be provided in road vehicles, therefore please inform us on booking if you require Wi-Fi whilst travelling by road along with complimentary bottled water. All our vehicles are new and of the latest design and technology.
- Tour Guides and Representatives - Throughout your holiday from arrival to departure, you will have the constant assistance of our Memphis Tour Representatives who are responsible for your transfers to and from Airports, Hotels, and Resorts and will assist at the Airports with Visa, tickets, and luggage and are there to answer any questions you may have. Once you start your tours of the sites in Egypt, you will have the constant guidance of your highly qualified Egyptologist Tour Guide both on included and optional tours
