The MY Alyssa is one of a small fleet of Nile Cruises, yet nonetheless innovative with a large selection of on board facilities including two extra outdoor cafe’s, aerobic classes and even Arabic lessons! It has a cross cultural design in furnishings and decor with a Nubian look on the Mezzanine level, and a classic design on the executive level with sundeck and additional musical entertainment at different levels of the boat. A real multi- cultural experience for those wishing for something ‘ a little different’. MY Alyssa Nile Cruise has 64 cabins approximately 21m and 2 Deluxe suites 31m.

 

A warm and friendly service awaits you on the MY Alyssa with the Cruise crew  having an untainted reputation for hospitality,going out of their way to serve and satisfy their guests to ensure a marvelous experience whilst on board.They encourage guests to participate in their lively activities including Aerobic classes, Arabic classes and weekly disco and games.From Reception, to your Tour Guide, Restaurant and lounge staff to the Housekeepers. Nothing is too much trouble for them and greet you daily with their famous Egyptian hospitality. 

 

On board the MY Aylssa, there is a real sense of ethnic diversity, with several themes throughout the decks interiors and exteriors. On the Mezzanine level, the design and artwork is of a Nubian style culture representative of Aswan. Whilst there is also the executive level with a more classical design interior along with the suites. On the exterior you will find the Moroccan Cafe and also an Italian Terrace serving food and drinks throughout the day. The Lounge and Bar also has its own design, that of a more modern theme. 

 

A real ‘perk’ on the MY Alyssa, is the wide range of eateries available on board. The main restaurant hosts the main dining area with full buffet breakfasts and lunches with A La Carte menus in the evening. Along with this, are the extra dining and beverage areas of the exterior Moroccan Cafe, Italian Terrace, and Sundeck all serving food and drinks throughout the day from snacks to lunches. 

 

There is always an option for in room dining in your cabin on the MY Alyssa if you required which covers all meal periods.Just contact Reception prior to the meal time required (throughout the day from breakfast to evening dinner) to ensure your order. If it is the A La Carte menu, the waiters will inform you of the menu for that evening. 

 

The Livingstone Lounge and Bar on the MY Alyssa could be described decorated with warm colours,coming to life at night with a pianist, discos and musicians performing to requests from  jazz to easy listening music.  the ideal location for an evening of cocktails and get togethers with friends. It is also the location for evening entertainment programme which includes discos with dance area.

 

Your MY Alyssa Lotus Nile Cruise boat has a sun deck Bar and the privacy of enclosed sun beds scattered around the deck. It is open throughout the day allowing you to order a range of drinks from the bar with waiter service whilst you relax soaking up the sun and Nile views. It will be open until sunset, therefore the chance to sip cocktails while watching the sun go down over the beautiful Nile. 

 

Every day whilst sailing, at around 4pm every afternoon, you will be served a typical English style afternoon tea on the sundeck. Ranging from tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches, re- live the colonial days of Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot whilst sailing the Nile. A real treat.

 

A Nile Cruise would not be a cruise if it did not provide on board entertainment for the clients as it adds to your wonderful Egyptian holiday experience. The MY Alyssa Nile Cruise along with all of the Movenpick Nile cruises, provides a fun filled programme of events in the lounge and bar every evening. Ranging from a local Belly Dancer, to Nubian Folklore music and dancers, disco, and the very popular Galabaya Party, where you get the chance to dress up in traditional Egyptian costumes and have an evening of games, music, and fun along with your Tour Guide! Costumes are available from the on board shop and the nice thing is you get to keep it to take home as a memory and fancy dress parties.
