Lawrence of Arabia is a film directed by the global British director David Lean in 1962 and produced by Sam Spiegel. It's one of the War classics of Hollywood. The Film the story of Lawrence of Arabia, played by Peter O'Toole, an British officer who was sent to the desert of Arabia to find Prince Faisal, played by Alec Guinness due to his knowledge of the native Bedouin tribes. The Film also starrs one of the Middle Easts most famous actors, Omar El Sherif, who played the role of Sherif Ali, who helped Lawrence during his rebel against his superior officer.
 
David Lean choose Wadi Rum to portray his film due to its beauty and magnificence of these spectacular sights and scenes which made the film win the Oscar for imaging.
