Dahabiya Nile Cruises

Dahabiya Nile cruises, often compared to the ‘pleasure barges’  of the Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs,  give you the opportunity to experience a real ‘personal service’ on board a  Luxury Nile Dahabiya Boats, and smaller and more traditional style Nile boat. Sailing between the Nile valley of Luxor and Aswan  at a leisurely pace, you will have ample time to take in the tranquil scenery and look forward to the fantastic shore excursions to visit the ancient wonders of Ancient Egypt.

One of our new ranges of Dahabiya for 2014, the Orient Dahabiya Nile Cruise is designed as an original Dahabiya from the late 18th and early 19th century. A luxury piece of design with two decks for a personal and unforgettable cruise down the Nile in Egypt. A four or five day schedule cruising from Aswan to Esna and vice versa with time to enjoy a relaxing cruise taking in all the beautiful scenery along with visits to Ancient sites and Cities, this is a cruise not to be missed.

Uniquely styled in the classic design of the  18th and early 19th century, the Zekryaat Dahabiya Nile Cruise boat offering a four day cruise from Aswan to Esna, or a five day cruise Esna to Aswan. It is a  traditional two-masted boat is about 39m long and 7m wide with  two decks. The Dahabiya is powered by wind, relying on the river currents and a gentle breeze, with a tug to tow it in it’s traditional way along one way up the Nile.

A very cosy and bright Dahabiya Nile cruise awaits you in the form of the Loulia. Sailing between Edfu and Aswan or vice versa on four or five night cruises, you cannot beat this lovely boat for relaxation and comfort. Ideal for small groups of up to twelve maximum, means it is more beneficial than touring Temples and sites with no queueing and a more personal Guide service. Extra visits to small villages make this a simply delightful experience.

The most luxurious, delightful and classy way to travel along the River Nile is on this absolutely delightful 8 day Nile Cruise on the Sonesta Amirat Dahabeya sailing from either Luxor to Aswan or Vice versa depending on your personal requirements. Launched in February, 2009, it offers a River Nile cruise experience like no other on the Nile taking you back in time to a gentler, more gracious era on the Nile.
