Itinerary:
5 Days - Luxor / Aswan Every Saturday

Day 1: Saturday

You will be met and assisted at Luxor Airport by our Memphis Tours Representative then transferred by air conditioned vehicle to your El Bey Dahabiya Cruise Boat. After check in, lunch will be served then your Expert English speaking Tour Guide will escort you to the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the imposing 28 th Dynasty Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun.Evening to relax in Luxor or take one of the Optional Tours such as the ‘Sound and light Show’ at Karnak Temple, or a City Tour of Luxor and market in a local ‘Kalesh’ (Horse and Carriage). Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2: Sunday

Today afrer breakfast, your Tour Guide will escort you to the West Bank for your exploration to the burial places of the Pharaohs which includes the Valley of the Kings where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Then on to the Hatshepsut Temple,  the Temple of Medinet Habu and the two huge Colossi of Memnon statues. Sail to Esna and Tea time on the Sun Deck and dinner on board during sailing. Overnight beside an Island.

Day 3: Monday

Breakfast whilst crossing Esna Lock, sail to Edfu to visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu (known for it’s Falcon Headed God Horus which has a large statue flanking the entrance to the Temple. Considered one of the best-preserved Temples in Egypt. Dinner on board and Overnight beside Al Ramady Island.

Day 4: Tuesday

Today afrer breakfast, Sail to el Sheikh Fadl Island.You will have your Lunch on board during sailing. After arrival you will enjoy a Tea time and Dinner on el Sheikh Fadl Island.Return back to Aswan and Overnight on board.

Day 5: Wednesday

You will visit the Aswan High Dam built in the 1960’s to provide the much-needed electricity and irrigation for Egypt. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has known.You will also visit  Philae Temple, a Nubian temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction.Then disembarkation with free time at leisure in Aswan before your transfer to Aswan Airport for Departure.

After Breakfast on board, possibility of Visit Abu Simbel Temple early morning (Optional Tour). Today you will sail to Kom Ombo to see the Ptolemaic Temple (Kom Ombo Temple) dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the morning sun. It is the only Temples in Egypt dedicated to two Gods. Overnight moored beside a Nile island.

Day 7: Friday

Early morning Sail to Esna, Breakfast on board the Nile Dahabiya. You will have your lunch while crossing Esna lock then sail to Luxor. Dinner and overnight on Luxor West Bank.

Day 8: Saturday

Breakfast on board the Nile Dahabiya. Then disembarkation with free time at leisure in Luxor before your transfer to Luoxor Airport for Departure.
