Day 1: Arrival Cairo - Welcome to land of the Pharaoh’s

Welcome to Egypt to start your Luxury Nile Cruise. You will be met and assisted at Cairo International Airport by a Memphis Tours Representative who will assist you with your Visa then transfer you to your 5 Star Luxury Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence by a private air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival at the Hotel, your Representative will assist you with a smooth check-in and give you a detailed information concerning your pick up times. Overnight in Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence.

Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

Pick you up from the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo by air-conditioned Vehicle where you will be accompanied by your personal Egyptologist Tour Guide to visit the famous Giza Plateau, home of Egypt’s greatest attractions the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Middle Pyramids of Chephren smallest Pyramid of Mykerinos and the Mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror to the ancient Pharaohs.The tour includes visit to the Valley Temple facing the great Sphinx. On the way you will have Lunch, then enjoy a visit to the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiques built in neo-classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibits a collection now of over 120000 masterpieces ranging from Pre-Dynastic era and includes the famous mask of the boy King Tutankhamun, right through from the Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt. Learn and discover the great Egyptian civilization and art of mummification in ancient Egypt. Afterwards an enjoyable afternoon of shopping at the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar and Old Market in Cairo. Finally back to the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence for a relaxing evening overnight.

Day 3: Fly Cairo to Luxor - Nile Cruise Tour

Breakfast at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence then a Memphis Tours Representative will pick you up by an air conditioned private vehicle to Cairo Domestic Airport to fly to Luxor. On arrival at Luxor International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our Memphis Tours Representative and transferred to your 5 Star Luxury Nile Cruise for embarkation. Once checked in, you will enjoy a delicious lunch on board before being collected around 2.30 pm with your expert English speaking tour Guide to visit the famous Karnak Temple in Luxor. Karnak Temple is the world's largest ancient religious site. The hypostyle hall with its colossal granite columns is one of Egypt’s infamous landmarks.
Following this, a tour to Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun.Then you will be transferred back to your Nile cruise in Luxor with free time at leisure and overnight stay.
*Optional tour is available to the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, or a tour around traditional Luxor City Market with a Guide or independently.
Back to your Nile Cruise for evening dinner.Overnight docking in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor Nile cruise Tours

An early breakfast before heading off with your Tour Guide to explore the West Bank of Luxor and the world renowned digs in history, the Valley of the Kings to see a selection of the beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs, many of which still display vibrant colour and breathtaking detail of deities and scenes from the Book of the Underworld. The most visited tombs have walkways and electric lighting, and the internal walls are protected by glass.(The 3 tombs you will visit are determined by the Government due to protecting the area and footpaths around and within the tombs)
Visit the impressive colonnaded and terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, which was built into a high cliff face and has graphics telling the story of Hatshepsut’s expeditions to the mysterious land of Punt. Passing by the huge twin statues known as the Colossi of Memnon for about 15 minutes.
Back on board your Nile Cruise for lunch and sailing on to Edfu through the lock at Esna. Overnight docking in Edfu with dinner on board.

Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Breakfast on board. whilst getting ready for an early 8:00 am visit with your Tour Guide to Edfu Temple. A Kalesh ride ( horse and carriage) will take you for an exploration of the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate; and inside, one of the interesting inscriptions lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library.
Sailing to Kom Ombo with Lunch and afternoon tea, Later, on arrival at Kom Ombo, you will be taken with your Guide to see Kom Ombo Temple which is shared by two Gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo ( the only Temple shared by two Gods in Egypt). Sailing on to Aswan under the large structure of Aswan Bridge considered the ‘Gateway to Nubia’. Before arriving in Aswan, there will be dinner on board along with a fun evening in the form of a ‘Galabeya Party’ Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Early breakfast on board. before an 8:00 am visit to Aswan’s High Dam, built in the 1960’s to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for the country. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has ever known.
Then we go to see the ‘Unfinished Obelisk’ which still lay in the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with building materials. It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned where it was being hewn.
Cross by boat to Angilika Island, to see the Temple of Isis at Philae which is one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers and reliefs which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt.
Back for lunch on board hen in the afternoon, a delightful Felucca sail across the Nile and Cataract Islands to visit Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens. In the year of 1899 lord Kitchener took the Island as a place where his campaign could rest, and called it the ‘Lord's House’. After his death, this island belonged to the ministry of agriculture.
Evening dinner on board followed by the Colourful Nubian Show. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 7: Optional Abu Simbel Tour - Fly Aswan to Cairo

Enjoy breakfast on board before disembarkation with free time at leisure in Aswan. You may have opportunity for the highly recommended optional excursion to Abu Simbel Temples by private vehicle / by EgyptAir Flight (Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions) to see the magnificence of these Temples. Transfer to the Aswan airport for your departure to Cairo where you will you be met, assisted and transferred to your Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence for check in. Overnigt stay at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 8: Cairo - Fly Back Home

Breakfast at your Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence with some free leisure time before being transferred back to Cairo International Airport for your flight home.

During the Christmas holidays, packages require a deposit of 50%. forming part of your final payment. Packages and vacations which include International flights will require the full flight cost and deposit (25% or 50%) due to the regulations of the Airlines who require full payment
