Day 1: Arrive Luxor - Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

On arrival in Luxor, you will be met and assisted at Luxor Airport or Train Station by a Memphis Tours Representative and driven by air conditioned vehicle to embark your Oberoi Zahra Luxury Nile Cruise. Lunch will be served, then you will be introduced to your expert english speaking Tour Guide to take your first tour. Today you will stay on the East Bank of Luxor to visit the impressive Karnak Temple in al it’s magnificence and was the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means ‘The Most Sacred of Places’. The Temple or more correctly, the complex of Temples, was built over more than two thousand years ago by generation after generation of Pharaohs. Within the complex, the great ‘Hypostyle Hall’ is an incredible forest of giant pillars. Also a visit to the Luxor Museum of Antiquities. The artifacts are a collection of masterpieces of pharaonic art with several galleries devoted to spectacular groups of statues found in 1989 hidden beneath the floor of the Luxor Temple. A new annex is dedicated to Egypt's Golden Age (the New Kingdom, ca. 1550-1070 BC) and includes two Royal Mummies. You will return to your Luxury Nile Cruise Boat for dinner with the option to visit the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple in the evening, or discover Luxor City and the local market. overnight in Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor Nile Cruise - Sail to Denderah Temple

An early breakfast on your Luxury Nile Cruise Boat, then a guided tour of the West Bank in Luxor to visit the most famous site known as the Valley of the Kings (the Royal Cemetery to 62 Pharaohs) where the magnificent Tombs were discovered including the famous boy King Tutankhamun. These Tombs were carved deep into the desert rock,richly decorated and filled with treasures from the afterlife of the Pharaohs.(The tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs prior to your visit). A visit to the Temple of Madinat Habu then on to the two enormous and impressive Colossi of Memnon, the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III. Return back to your luxury Nile Cruise for lunch and sailing on to Qina with free time for Spa pampering before arriving at the Temple of Denderah, dedicated to the Goddess Hathor who was considered the Goddess of music, love and joy. Back on board for evening dinner and overnight stay in Quina.

Day 3: Luxor Nile Cruise Shore Excursions

Early sailing to Luxor and breakfast on board. On arrival in Luxor, your tour Guide will escort you on a further tour of the West bank to visit the Valley of the Nobles. Also a tour to Dier El Madina ( a special workman’s village whose craftsmen built and decorated the Tombs of the Pharaohs). Finally on to the large Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharaoh said to have ruled Ancient Egypt. Back to your Luxury Nile Cruise for lunch and some Spa time before heading off in the afternoon for your final tour of the day to Luxor Temple, (once linked to Karnak Temple by an avenue of Sphinx’s and currently in the final stages of reconstruction). Luxor Temple was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun. Dinner and cocktail party with entertainment. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Sail to Edfu Temple

Breakfast on board whilst sailing to Edfu and passing through the Lock at Esna. Time for Spa and relaxation throughout the sailing. Lunch and afternoon tea before docking at Edfu for a visit with your Guide to Horus Temple, an inspiring Temple dedicated to the God Horus (falcon headed God) and one of the best preserved temples along the Nile. Back on board for dinner and overnight stay in Edfu.

Day 5: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Early sail to Aswan whilst enjoying breakfast and views on board. You will sail under the large impressive structure of Aswan bridge which is the gateway into Aswan City. All day until early afternoon to enjoy the Spa and relaxation time before heading off with your Tour Guide to visit the famous Aswan High Dam. This will be followed by an exploration of Philae Temple, a Nubian Temple rescued before the floods. More spa time to relax on return to the Nile Cruise with dinner and free time to explore Aswan in the evening either individually or an optional tour with a Guide. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Sail to Kom ombo Temple - Back to Aswan

Breakfast on board your Nile Cruise whilst sailing to Kom Ombo for a guided tour of the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek, God of Fertility and Creator of the World. The other side is dedicated to the Falcon God Haroeris, also known as Horus the Elder. After the tour, sailing back to Aswan with lunch. Free spa and relaxation time, then a visit sailing on a traditional Felucca sailing boat to the Botanical Gardens, known as Kitchener’s Island, named after Lord Kitchener as a reward for his services in the Sudan Campaign of 1896-1898. Return to the Nile cruise and enjoy more free time before taking in the lovely Sound and Light show at Philae Temple. Dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 7: Optional Tour to Abu Simbel Temple

Today in Aswan, you have the choice to relax and discover the colourful City of Aswan, or take an optional tour to The Temples of Abu Simbel, (the 2nd most visited site in Egypt after the Pyramids). Plenty of time to relax and use the Spa facilities. Evening dinner and cocktail party on board with entertainment. overnight in Aswan.
