4 Days - Aswan / Luxor Every Friday

Friday: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

On arrival at Aswan Airport or the Train Terminal, you will be greeted and assisted by a Memphis Tours Representative then transferred to your knowledgable Egyptologist Tour Guide who will then accompany you for an amazing tour of the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae in Aswan. Following your tours, you will be transferred to your Sonesta St George Nile cruise boat in Aswan for embarkation with lunch, afternoon tea and overnight in Aswan.

Saturday: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples

A picturesque sail on to Kom Ombo passing through the modern architecture of the spectacular Aswan Bridge with breakfast aboard the Nile cruise boat. On arrival at Kom Ombo, you will be accompanied by your Tour Guide to visit the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haeroris. After your fascinating tour, Lunch on board will be followed by sailing on to Edfu for your tour of Horus Temple. Afternoon Tea will be served on the top deck whilst sailing on to Luxor via Esna lock to which you will get the opportunity to see local life and take some memorable pictures. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the Nile Cruise Ship in Luxor.

Sunday: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

Arrival in Luxor – breakfast is served on board your Nile cruise ship followed by your accompanied tour for a fascinating insight into Ancient Egypt along the  East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to Karnak and Luxor Temples. You will then be transferred back to the Nile cruise ship in Luxor for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner on board with overnight aboard the Nile cruise vessel in Luxor.

Please note* There is ample time for discovering Luxor City in the afternoon

Monday: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

Disembarkation after breakfast, followed by your accompanied Egyptologist Tour Guide to visit the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshipsut at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon with free time at leisure in Luxor then you will be transferred to Luxor airport or train station for departure.

5 Days - Luxor / Aswan Every Monday

Monday: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

On arrival at Luxor Airport or the Train Terminal, you will be greeted and assisted by a Memphis Tours Representative. Following this you will then be accompanied by your Egyptologist Tour Guide for an amazing excursion along the East Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to the most famous historical sights known as Karnak and Luxor Temples. Once your guided tour is completed, you will then be transferred to the Sonesta St George Nile cruise ship in Luxor for embarkation to include lunch, afternoon tea and dinner aboard your Nile cruise.
Please note* there is an optional Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple in Luxor.

Tuesday: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

Your opportunity to enjoy a lovely breakfast on board the Nile cruise boat in Luxor before heading off to the West Bank with your own personal Egyptologist Tour Guide for an incredible journey back into ancient Egyptian history to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon followed by your transfer back to the cruise ship in Luxor. The afternoon will be spent sailing along the ancient River Nile to Edfu via the interesting Lock at Esna where you will have the opportunity to observe local life and take some memorable photographs. Once arrived at Esna, you can enjoy your superb dinner on board the Nile cruise ship while docked overnight.

Wednesday: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples

After a restful night’s sleep, breakfast will be served on board the Nile cruise ship followed by your next fascinating tour with your knowledgeable guide to  Horus Temple at Edfu then transferred back to the cruise to sail on to Kom Ombo with lunch on board the Nile cruise boat. .You will be accompanied by your Egyptologist Tour Guide to visit the Kom OmboTemple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris then sailing to Aswan past the spectacular Aswan Bridge into the fascinating lights of the Aswan Tombs of the Nobles with dinner and overnight on board the Nile cruise ship in Aswan

Thursday: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Another exciting day awaits you after breakfast on board the Nile cruise vessel where you will be escorted by your Egyptologist tour guide in Aswan for an amazing tour to visit the High Dam,Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae in Aswan. Then you will be transferred to your Nile cruise boat in Aswan for lunch, afternoon tea and overnight in Aswan.

Friday: Optional Abu Simbel Temple

Disembarkation after breakfast with free time to explore the lovely city of Aswan with it’s famous Nubian culture  then transfer to Aswan airport / train station for your departure.
Please note* There is an optional excursion to Abu Simbel (highly recommended) from Aswan by private air conditioned vehicle or by Egypt air to explore the impressive temples of King Ramses II and Queen Nefertari temple of Abu Simbel and then back to Aswan with free time at leisure in Aswan on your own.

8 Days - Luxor / Luxor Every Monday

Monday: Welcome to Luxor - Nile Cruise Tour

On arrival at Luxor Airport or the Train Terminal, you will be met and assisted by your Memphis Tours representative then transferred by air conditioned vehicle to Your Sonesta St George Nile Cruise
for embarkation and check in. Once settled in you will enjoy a welcome drink and evening dinner. Overnight docking in Luxor.

Tuesday: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

Morning breakfast on board your Nile Cruise before being escorted with your Tour Guide to visit the two enormous and impressive Colossi of Memnon the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III then a journey into ancient Egyptian history as the Valley of the Kings (the Royal Cemetery where the magnificent Tombs were discovered including the famous boy King Tutankhamun.Carved deep into the desert rock,richly decorated and filled with treasures from the afterlife of the Pharaohs.Then you will continue your tour to Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary. This impressive Temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut the only female Pharaoh, rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs.Return to your Nile Cruise for lunch and sailing on to Edfu with afternoon tea served on the sundeck, passing through the Large lock at Esna then docking in Edfu with dinner onboard and overnight stay.

Wednesday: Edfu Temple - Sail to Aswan

After breakfast on board, you will disembark with your Tour Guide to visit Edfu Temple. An awe inspiring Temple dedicated to the God Horus (falcon headed God) and one of  the best preserved Temples along the Nile. Following this, lunch on board your Nile cruise boat and afternoon tea whilst sailing on to Aswan known as Nubian country sailing under the huge structure of Aswan Bridge considered the ‘Gateway to Nubia’.Time to relax in the evening with an optional chance to see the very exciting Sound and Light Show at Philae Temple, or just relax on board with evening dinner. Overnight in Aswan.

Thursday: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Another exciting day awaits you after breakfast on board the Nile cruise vessel where you will be escorted by your Egyptologist tour guide in Aswan for an amazing tour to visit the High Dam,built in the 1960’s to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for the country. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has ever known. Then a visit to see the ‘Unfinished Obelisk’ which still lies in the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with building materials. It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned where it was being hewn. Cross by boat to Angilika Island, to see Philae Temple which is one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers and reliefs which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt. Dinner with overnight stay in Aswan with time to explore the city independently or with an optional tour and Guide. Overnight in Aswan.

Friday: Nile Cruise Optional Tour to Abu Simbel

Breakfast on board your Nile cruise with free time to explore Aswan City and it’s colourful incense and spice market. Highly recommended is the optional tour to the Abu Simbel Temples. Driving from Aswan to Abu Simbel by a private air-conditioned vehicle or by flight. Arrive at Abu Simbel on Lake Nasser to be in awe of the huge structure of the Temple of Ramses II, dedicated to the four universal Gods Ptah, Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II. The second temple is dedicated to the beloved wife of Ramesses, Nefertari. Other optional tours are available in Aswan such as the Nubian Museum, Nubian Villages, St. Simeon’s monastery, Kitchener’s Island, Tombs of the Nobles, and Aswan Market. Lunch and free leisure time in Aswan. Dinner on board and Overnight in Aswan.

Saturday: Kom Ombo Temple - Sail to Luxor

Enjoy breakfast onboard whilst sailing along the tranquil Nile enroute to Kom Ombo. On arrival, you will explore Kom Ombo Temple with your Guide. He will tell you the story of the Temple (the only Temple in Egypt dedicated to two Gods) Sobek the God of fertility, and Haroeis, the Falcon Headed God known as Horus the Elder.After your tour, sailing along the Nile with Afternoon tea on board then passing by Edfu and through the Lock at Esna on to Luxor. Dinner on board in Luxor with an overnight stay.

Sunday: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

Early morning at sunrise, you have the amazing opportunity (Optional excursion) to Enjoy a breathtaking adventure in a hot air Balloon Ride over Luxor for 45 minutes floating over some of the world's most important archaeological sites, including the Valley of the Kings and Queens, and iconic historic monuments. During the flight over Luxor you get breathtaking views of the sprawling Temples of Karnak and Luxor along with the green lush Nile delta and farmlands.
In the afternoon you will be escorted by your Tour Guide to the East Bank of the Nile.Starting at the magnificent Karnak Temple the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means ‘The Most Sacred of Places’. The Temple or more correctly, the complex of Temples, was built over more than two thousand years ago by generation after generation of Pharaohs. Within the complex, the great ‘Hypostyle Hall’ is an incredible forest of giant pillars. Next on to nearby Luxor Temple (the two Temples were once linked by the ‘Avenue of Sphinx’ which is currently being reconstructed).On to the majestic Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun.Evening to relax onboard or take an evening Kallesh ride (horse and carriage) into Luxor City and Market Overnight on your Nile Cruise.
