Itinerary:
4 Days - Aswan / Luxor Every Friday

Friday: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

You will be met and assisted on arrival at Aswan Airport and be transferred to your MS Hamees Nile cruise for Embarkation. After lunch, your expert English speaking tour guide will escort you on a visit to discover the Aswan High Dam, built in the 1960’s to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for the country. Nubia, the area which was flooded, experienced the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has known.Then moving on to explore the Temple of Philae devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor and one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers and reliefs which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt.Evening.Dinner back on board your Nile cruise and overnight in Aswan.

Saturday: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples

Early breakfast on board from 7:00am while sailing to Kom Ombo. Morning to relax on board and take in the breathtaking views of the Nile and it’s culture unchanged for centuries. At around 12:30pm, you will be escorted by your Tour Guide to visit Kom Ombo Temple standing on high grounds overlooking the Nile. It differs from other Temples because of its double entrance, each one is dedicated to a divinity: ‘Haroeris’ with his falcon head and ‘ Sobek ‘ with it’s crocodile head. The Temple of Kom Ombo was built in honor of these two deities, Sobek being known as the God of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus.
Back on board for Lunch. Then around 4.00pm in the afternoon, enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck while sailing to Edfu. At 5.00pm, you will explore  Edfu, the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin towered entrance gate; and inside, one of the interesting inscriptions lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library
From 7:30pm Sailing to Esna with dinner on board with your fun filled ‘Galabeya Party’ to end the evening in style.  Overnight in Esna.

Sunday: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

06.00am early Sailing to Luxor with breakfast on board. Lunch at1:00pm then a tour with your Guide at 3.00pm to the East Bank of Luxor to explore Karnak and Luxor Temples. 
Karnak Temple, is a fascinating Temple and the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means ‘The Most Sacred of Places’. The Temple or more correctly, the complex of Temples, was built over more than two thousand years ago by generation after generation of Pharaohs. Within the complex, the great ‘Hypostyle Hall’ is an incredible forest of giant pillars. (Lunch included in a quality restaurant). Next on to nearby Luxor Temple (the two Temples were once linked by the ‘Avenue of Sphinx’ which is currently being reconstructed).
Then continue the tour to visit the majestic Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun. After the tour, you will taken to your Nile Cruise  for an overnight stay in Luxor
Dinner on board in the evening with a Belly dance show. Overnight in Luxor.

Monday: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

Early breakfast at 7.00am then check out and disembark your Nile Cruise where you will be escorted with your Tour Guide for your final tour over on the West Bank of Luxor at 08:00am to the Valley of the Kings and Queens, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (El-Deir El-Bahari). 
Starting with The Valley of the Kings (the original resting place of the world famous boy King Tutankhamun), and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (the only Female Pharaoh) at El Deir EL Bahari and the two towering statues of the Colossi of Memnon.(The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs prior to your visit).
Please Note: There is an additional Charge to enter the Tombs of King Tutankhamun and Ramses VI.
After your Tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport or the Train Terminal.

Welcome to Egypt. You will be met and assisted at Luxor International Airport by a memphis Tours Representative who will transfer you to your Nile cruise by a private air-conditioned vehicle. Wednesday: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Breakfast on board. whilst getting ready for an early 8:00am visit with your Tour Guide to Edfu Temple. A Kalesh ride ( horse and carriage) will take you for an exploration of the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin towered entrance gate; and inside, one of the interesting inscriptions lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library. 
Sailing to Kom Ombo with  Lunch and  afternoon tea, Later, on arrival at Kom Ombo, you will be taken with your Guide to see Kom Ombo Temple which is shared by two Gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo ( the only Temple shared by two Gods in Egypt). Sailing on to Aswan under the large structure of Aswan Bridge considered the ‘Gateway to Nubia’. Before arriving in Aswan, there will be dinner on board along with a fun evening in the form of a ‘Galabeya Party’ Overnight in Aswan.

Thursday: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Early breakfast on board. before an 8:00am visit to Aswan’s High Dam, built in the 1960’s to provide the much needed electricity and irrigation for the country. Nubia, the area that was flooded, experienced the biggest and most thorough archaeological excavations that Egypt has ever known. 
Then we go to see the ‘Unfinished Obelisk’ which still lay in the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with building materials. It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned where it was being hewn.
Cross by boat to Angilika Island, to see the Temple of Isis at Philae which is one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers and reliefs which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt.
Back for lunch on board hen in the afternoon, a delightful Felucca sail across the Nile and Cataract Islands to visit Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens. In the year of 1899 lord Kitchener took the Island as a place where his campaign could rest, and called it the ‘Lord's House’. After his death, this island belonged to the ministry of agriculture.
Evening dinner on board followed by the Colourful Nubian Show. Overnight in Aswan.
