Moving on to the Citadel of Saladin overlooking the City from the Muqattam Hills. Your Memphis Tour Manager will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam by a private deluxe A/C vehicle to enjoy a day tour to the famous Temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo. Driving to Edfu, approximately  3 hours far from Marsa Alam and begin by visiting the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most complete and best preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin towered entrance gate and inside, a fascinating  inscription which lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant then move to Kom Ombo to continue your tour by visiting the unique temple at Kom Ombo ( known as Kom Ombo Temple). Of all the ancient Temples in Egypt, this is the only one which is divided into two, to reflect that it is dedicated to two Gods:Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility; and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the sky. Day 2 - Abu Simbel Tour / Marsa Alam
 
Early morning picked up from your Hotel after breakfast for an amazing guided tour to the impressive Abu Simbel Temples, its main attraction being the great Sun Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari. Both Temples were discovered in 1813 it were almost completely covered with sand. Then both temples were moved in 1960 with the help of the Egyptian Government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. Ramses II built the Temple mostly to honor himself as inside there is a mural depicting his famous victory at Battle of Qadesh where his army defeated their enemies. On the north of Ramses Temple, the Nefertari Temple was built by Ramses II for his favorite wife Queen Nefertari among another 200 wives and concubines. Free time for memorable photos at the area of Abu Simbel, Then transferred back to Aswan to have your lunch, and around 6 o'clock, escorted by your guide and driver back to your hotel in Marsa Alam, Red Sea.

Then you will drive 22 km. by motorbike between the mountains of the Eastern desert, with 2 or 3 stops on the way to visit a Bedouin tribe to experience their life and traditions (Houses, food, Education, religion, etc.). Board your boat and sail for about 30 minutes to the first snorkeling site “ Marsa El shone” which is filled with lots of corals and different kinds of coloured fish, then back to the boat to sail for about 20 minutes to Marsa Mubarak, one of the most beautiful snorkel and dive sites in the Marsa Alam region. This tour will enable you to explore the protected bay of Marsa Mubarak, which offers some of the most dazzling coral reefs in the Red Sea and the magnificent underwater seascapes offer a range of exciting snorkeling experiences. The crystal clear warm water of this site hosts a magnificent variety of flora and fauna. Early morning  you will be picked up from your Hotel in Marsa Alam by our Memphis Tours Representative, then escorted to the Marina of Hamata (165 km south of Marsa Alam airport ) to board your boat. After a welcome drink, we will set sail to our destination Satayh “ Dolphin Reef “ that satisfies every snorkeler’s desire. After approx. 2 hours sailing we reach our stop at Satyah Reef, very close to the famous Fury Shoals. Somewhere protected in the Red Sea by a lagoon with crystal water, a group of 60 to 80 dolphins will dance in front of your eyes and you can feel free to play with these amazing creatures.. This area is full of Dolphins and Sea Mammals that consider this area their home. There is  a huge school of Spinner Dolphins in Satayh Reef. The sensation of swimming with these lovely mammals is an experience, which you will never forget. During the day, you will get the chance to join the Dolphins in the lagoon , and also discover different species of fish and corals that are only found in the Red Sea. Throughout this magical adventure on the Red Sea, included is a delightfully prepared lunch by the onboard chef, with snacks and drinks also provided during the day. Then we will sail back to the port, and arrive to Hamata Marina at approx. 16:30pm then transferred back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
