Day 1:Arrival Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by your Memphis Tours Representative who will accompany you to your hotel in Cairo for check-in and a free welcome drink. There you will be introduced to your Tour Manager for the trip, who will explain what to expect on your visit and will be your point of contact throughout the whole trip. He and will give you details of how to contact him at any time whilst in Egypt under the care of Memphis Tours. Throughout your holiday, in addition to the Tour Manager you will meet a variety of English-speaking Tour Guides, who have been chosen for their expertise on each of the areas you are visiting. After check-in you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure. There is a wonderful opportunity to do an optional excursion to the Sound & Light Show on Giza Plateau, by the magnificent Pyramids.

Day 2:Pyramids Tours

Pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by air-conditioned mini bus to visit Sakkara that is part of Memphis's massive Necropolis, and the burial site of the most ancient Pharaohs where you will see the first Pyramids build in Egypt, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser that was designed by Imhotep, the ancient Egyptian architect. Also a visit to the Teti Pyramid and Tombs in Sakkara then you will be transferred to Memphis, the ancient Capital of Egypt to visit the colossal statue of Ramses II and nearby a still half-buried Hathor Temple then drive to the famous Giza Plateau, home of Egypt’s signature attractions of the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Middle Pyramids of Chephren and the smallest Pyramid of Mykerinos along with the mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror for the ancient Pharaohs. The tour includes a visit to the Valley Temple facing the great Sphinx. Lunch will be included. After this, a tour of the famous Museum of Antiquities accompanied by your own private Egyptologist Tour that was built in neo-classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibits a collection now with over 120000 masterpieces ranging from Pre-Dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt including the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, and other Pharaonic Gods and Goddess. An incredible opportunity to see ancient Egyptian artefacts which many would envy around the world. Escorted by your Guide back to your hotel.
Please note* There is an additional charge for entering inside the Pyramids and also the Solar Boat Museum. Please speak with your tour guide should you wish to purchase a ticket to enter one of these sites. Also an additional charge for the Mummies Room at the Museum of Antiquities
An optional evening tour to attend the fabulous Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids is available or you may wish to enjoy an evening on a luxurious Nile cruise ship for dinner, belly dance and oriental show for 2 hours then you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3:Cairo Tours

Breakfast in your hotel in Cairo. Leisurely free time in Cairo followed by a tour to the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities that was built in neo-classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibits a collection now over 120000 masterpieces ranges from pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt. Then you will be move on to the Citadel of Saladin that is overlooking the city from the Muqattam Hills and Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque, a spectacular structure inside that was built in Turkish style and very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey and simply considered to be one of the greatest landmarks in Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of old Cairo then visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the Hanging Church or the Suspended Church, this basilica church was named for its location on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon the church became the center of the Christian Church of Egypt. Afterwards enjoy an afternoon of shopping at the Khan El Khalili famous Bazaar and old market in Cairo and barter for some local hand-made treasures. Transfer back to your Hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 4:Cairo / Dahabiya Cruise in Aswan

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then you will be transferred to Cairo airport to fly to Aswan, where you will be met by A Memphis Tours Representative who will transfer you to embark your Dahabiya cruise in Aswan for a relaxing week sailing the Nile on a luxuriously cruise ‘Dahabiya’. Overnight, the ship moors on the Nile banks of Aswan.

Day 5:Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam (completed in 1971) and the Old Dam (completed in 1902). You will also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam’s construction. Sail on the way to Kom Ombo Overnight moored nearby Kom Ombo.

Day 6:kom Ombo Temple

Morning sail to Kom Ombo to see the Ptolemaic Temple (Kom Ombo Temple) dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the morning sun. Overnight moored beside a Nile island.

Day 7:Edfu Temple

This morning you will sail to Edfu to visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu (known for it’s Falcon Headed God Horus which has a large statue flanking the entrance to the Temple. Overnight moored beside an island.

Day 8:Sail to Esna

Today will be a leisurely day. After breakfast, commence sailing to Esna, and passing Esna Lock, where your Dahabiya moors overnight beside a Nile Island.

Day 9:Luxor East Bank

You will be taken from the boat by your own personal Egyptologist Tour Guide for an incredible journey through time into the lives of the Ancient Egyptians. You will be escorted along the East bank of the Nile to the impressive and famous Temples of Luxor and Karnak, with the Avenue of Sphinx which connected the two Temples in ancient times. You will then be transferred to your Nile Cruise Boat for the rest of the day and evening.
* Please note - There is an optional tour of the ‘Sound and Light Show’ at Karnak Temple. (recommended).

Day 10:Luxor West Bank

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast on board the Nile cruise boat, your expert Tour Guide will take you on a fascinating Nile journey to the West Bank of the River Nile to experience the original resting place of the world famous boy King Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings along with discovering the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (the only Female Pharaoh) at El Deir EL Bahari and the two towering statues of the Colossi of Memnon.(The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs prior to your visit). Overnight on board your Nile Dahabiya.

Day 11:Dahabiya Cruise / Sharm El Sheikh

Breakfast aboard the Dahabiya followed by disembarkation and then you will be transferred to Luxor Airport to fly to Sharm El Sheikh, where you will be met, assisted and transferred to your beachfront Resort with a free welcome drink on check in check and free leisure time. overnight at your Hotel.

Day 12: Sharm El Shiekh Optional Tours

Breakfast at your Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh with free time at leisure with optional excursions available in Sharm el shekih, Dubbed Egypt 's ‘Garden of Allah’, due to the wealth of colourful underwater life. A Red Sea diving holiday is simply unforgettable. Well-established diving centres will gladly provide you with scuba diving information and arrange courses and daily excursions trip to a selection of many places, from the gigantic coral outcrops of Red Sea to the vertical walls of Ras Mohammed, from the wrecks of Sha'ab Abu Nuhas to the lonely offshore islands of ‘The Brothers’ and ‘Zabargad’.

Day 13:Sharm El Sheikh Optional Tour

Breakfast at your Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh with free time at leisure with optional excursions available in Sharm el shekih to Ras Mohammed National Park,a nature reserve in a protected area that lies where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba at Sinai’s southernmost point. The arid dessert terrain of sand dunes, gravel plains, fossilised corals and Granite Mountains is home to a number of rare mammal species: Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex and red fox. Easier to spot are the resident birds like terns, herons, gulls and ospreys. Thousands of white storks pass through Ras Mohammed each year, heading south during September/October and back north during April/May. About 85 flora species, including mangroves, grow in the park.

Day 14:Sharm El Sheikh Optional Tour

Breakfast at your Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh with free time at leisure with optional excursions available in Sharm el shekih to the Coloured Canyon, one of Sinai’s natural wonders. Take a walk between the dramatic sandstone canyon walls streaked with yellows, purples, reds, magentas and gold, making you feel as though you are in a spectacular colouring book. In certain places the canyon walls reach up to 40 meters.

Day 15:Sharm / Cairo / Home

Breakfast at your Resort with free time at leisure followed by check-out. Then you will be transferred to Sharm el sheikh Airport to fly back to Cairo International Airport where you will connect with your international flight home.
